SIZE MATTERS: THE CASE FOR MUSCLES

SIZE MATTERS: THE CASE FOR MUSCLES

Being Strong

As men, we often hear that physical strength is a core aspect of masculinity. It's a primal instinct that has been ingrained in us for centuries, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It's true that being able to protect ourselves and our loved ones is crucial, and physical strength is a big part of that. But it's not just about being able to hold our own in a fight. Our frame also plays a role in how we are perceived by others.

People tend to view physically fit and strong men as more respectable, authoritative, and attractive. I for one have definitely seen an increase in attention since packing on muscle.

But it's not just about appearances either. Strength also has real practical benefits, even in todays modern, softer society. Think about all the times you've had to lift heavy objects, whether it's moving furniture, carrying shopping, or opening a really tight jar.

Being physically strong and fit makes those tasks easier. And in an emergency situation, being strong and able to carry someone to safety could be the difference between life and death.

And as you get deeper and deeper into your training, the pain and dedication required to work out regularly; will teach you about discipline, resilience, and humility.

And let's be real, who doesn't want to have all of those things? But beyond that, getting jacked provides the necessary backbone and the proper framework on which a man with moral values is built.

We've all come across guys who are friendly and pleasant but seem to lack the physical strength to stand up for themselves or anyone else.

Maybe they're skinny and seem like they'd blow away in a stiff breeze, or perhaps they're fat and can barely climb a flight of stairs without getting winded.

These men may be perfectly nice, but they don't quite command the respect of their peers. It's not that they're bad people, but when it comes down to it, we want to be able to count on someone who has the strength and courage to stand up for what's right.

After all, what good are all our lofty principles and intellectual achievements if we can't defend them when it counts?

Honouring Our Ancestors

Back in the day, being physically strong wasn't just a nice-to-have, it was a matter of survival.

Our ancestors had to be tough and resilient to battle against the elements and other men, and only the strongest and bravest were able to pass on their genes.

That means we're all descendants of the world's strongest, fastest, and smartest men of the past. Only 40% of men lived long enough to pass on their seed.

But what are we doing with that genetic inheritance?

Are we spending all our time on the sofa, stuffing our faces with garbage and playing video games?

Is this what those that came before us struggled for?

Developing the physical strength that runs in our veins is the best way to pay tribute to the men who came before us.

Every time you lift weights, you're honouring their legacy and showing respect for the sacrifices they made so that we could exist today.

Doing what your body is meant for, what it evolved for, is an incredible feeling that everyone should experience at least once in their life. So don't let this genetic gift go to waste – train to be physically strong and realise the power that exists within you.

Always remember, you were born to be the anti-hero of your story.

Free your outlaw.
